The Creation of The Great Gathering has been an idea that was born in 1988. This vision began to become a reality and manifest in the last two years and one step at a time becoming closer to completion.
In this process there have been many challenges along the way. With each one there always seemed to be a very clear reason for the delay which then became a blessing to the process.
I know many people around the world are waiting for this website for this process of The Great Gathering to begin in 2010 as was originally stated. This was not possible with all the work that needed to be completed and the team of people from around the world are working on making this happen.
Please accept our apology for not having this work completed for all of you.
At this time we are in the process of creating a nonprofit for The Great Gathering so that we will then be able to accept your donations with a tax break. Also for the purpose of looking for funding to create the projects and gatherings around the world we would like to create.
At the moment we are still in need of very specific professional writers to volunteer to write articles for the website before the site goes live to the public. These articles do not need to be long but they need to be well written and set the tone for the type of information we are looking for on the website.
Volunteer writers will have the opportunity to join the website and see the site before the public does.

These articles can be on Documentaries, youtube clips, Movies, Ideas, other Nonprofits, Projects, YOUR projects, YOUR ideas, companies that are working in a balanced way in one of the intentions or anything else you can think of. You may use links to other websites, companies or organizations. You may use photos or point to Youtube clips.
If you look at the following Intentions you will see that anything you could choose will FIT into one of the categories.
The REQUIREMENT: There must be a SOLUTION present in the article.

) Animal protection—We need to protect our planet’s animals from human development and poisonous dumping and spraying. The animals of our earth need us to be responsible or millions of species will not survive.
2) Ecosystems small and large—Looking to protect the oceans, wetlands, deserts, and all ecosystems for the benefit of the planet and for generations to come.
3) Education—All children deserve to learn reading, writing and math skills. Furthermore, there should be widespread education for the purpose of assisting the changes in the world we wish to see.
4) Energy—Examining current levels of energy supply and resources and their availability in the
future. We want to see more focus on the development and promotion of new energy supplies to be available to all people.
5) Environment—Developing solutions for pollution, toxic waste, landfills, pesticide use, deforestation, etc.
6) Food supply—Open access to heirloom seeds of all varieties should be standard practice rather
than the current standard: being constrained by genetically modified seed use, pesticides, and limited food crops. We will look at food production to feed and nourish the world, including traditional farming and organic crops, as well as the right to own seeds.
7) Health rights—Every human being on Earth should have access to health care—not only from the world of medicine, but also from the traditional and natural remedies of the world.
8) Home and building development—Exploring new ways to build and heat homes that are realistic in a growing world population.
9) Humanitarian rights and free speech—Regardless of race, religion, gender, age, belief or other distinction, free speech around the globe – for freedom of the soul.
10) Indigenous people—They were the original caretakers of Earth. A respect and support of
their way of life should be an integral part of the setting of intentions and the finding of solutions.
11) Monetary systems alternatives—Looking at alternatives to our current monetary system and finding a simpler solution to trade and exchange of goods and services while still using a FAIR monetary system.
12) Natural resources to maintain them—How to live in harmony with nature and the earth, including new ways of creating and delivering products and recycling which would then have less demand on natural resources.
13) Poverty—Looking for global solutions for all humanity. The knowledge and technology to prevent wide-spread poverty and suffering is available.
We know that 2011 is the year that we will join our hands and our hearts from around the world.
